Wound vac for lump

I'm going to make this as short as possible. I had a lump under my left nipple.....doctor removed, let it try to heal itself but got infected. So last Thursday had a surgical procedure to put in a wound vac to help it heal.....when I woke up from surgery it hurt of course but the next morning no pain and it was draining......today (sunday).... nurse came to change it..... (I knew it was going to hurt so took pain meds)....it hurts like it's never hurt before and now there is no drainage...also wound vac only made a noise like every 15 to 30 mins...now it's making a sound. ......should I be concerned tell me you story please

chickybabe, this sounds like a situation where you need to reach out to your doctor and let them know what is going on. You don't need to be in that much pain.
