Today I had my lumpectomy and the sentinel node biopsy plus 4 more nodes.

I just got home I am a little bit dizzy, the only pain has been like bee stings or needles not to bad but they gave me pain meds before leaving the hospital and pills for home.

My boob is blue from the dye and they said my pee will be green so does that make me a troll or a smurf lol.

It makes you someone with a great sense of humor -which is going to be really valuable in the months ahead.

Congratulations on getting through surgery. The worst is behind you - now on to healing.

Luckynumber47, moth, and adebernardi - Thank you all.

I am trying to keep my sense of humor cracked jokes until they did the iv drugs at that point I remember being wheeled down the hallway and getting into the operating room but nothing else.

I am hoping since the biopsy usually take about 4-6 days they will find out in 4 days and maybe call me before my follow up appt. on the 9th. I hate the waiting.

Thank you. The pain has not been bad at all I was expecting much worse. I have only taken one pain pill since I got home.

I have come to the conclusion that one of the worst things about breast cancer is the waiting for test results. Since my surgery was last Friday afternoon and Monday was a holiday I am still waiting for the results of the tumor biopsy and the sentinel node and other nodes.

They called the pathologist office for me and they said it would most likely be Thursday or Friday of this week so I wait some more.

My BP was really high yesterday due to stress I was vomiting and very dizzy. Today I feel fine trying to think about sunshine, warm weather and the beach with the sand and the waves crashing into the shore that way I can relax.
