Has anyone else has on and off breast pain during chemo treatment? I don't mean during administration of the chemo itself, I mean afterwards. I have on and off breast pain right where the tumour is since having chemo. I have only had one chemo so far. My second is tomorrow.

    Hi

I assume you are having neo-adjuvant chemo? I had lumpectomy then chemo but still get some pain in surgical site during chemo cycle and I’ve assumed that is still surgery settling. However I am part of another forum and ladies on neo-adjuvant chemo have reported pinching pain on tumourafter chemo and they take this as a good sign that chemo is attacking tumour and shrinking it.

Good luck tomorrow. Hope all goes well. x

Hi, I had neoadjuvant chemo. After each treatment for a few days, I felt pins and needles sort of pain where the lump was. I was told by my oncologist that it was chemo killing the cancer. Take it easy and Good luck.
