Skin Discoloration

Options

Hi everyone,

New to the community and checking in because I'm concerned about skin discoloration. I'm undergoing chemotherapy (taxotere and cytoxan) and have developed a pretty large black spot on my nose. My doctor says it's pretty uncommon as most people have discoloration on their nails.

Anyone ever experienced skin discoloration on their face? If so, did anything help it to go away?

Thanks!

Yikes! I did have some uncommon kind of what looked like bruising on my back during the same chemo. It finally went away, but it took like too years. Sorry to hear this,I guess you could try icing your nose a little, if you could stand to, during your next infusions. I wasn't aware that these chaos could do that, although I understand that some other chemo drugs can. I hope it goes away quickly for you!

Oh! Maybe it was the cytoxan doing that, anybody else know the answer to her question? Welcome to BCO, while being sorry you have found yourself with this crud disease.

Thanks so much for your reply. I'll look into the cytoxan.
