hi every one, my mom is due for her 6th and last tac chemo on 4th December. Today we did blood test and we got wbc 3500 and anc 2250. Is there any chance of chemo delay. Its the last hardle,we don't want to b delayed.

My oncologist didn't delay chemo unless my WBC was lower than 3000. She didn't say anything about ANC.

3500 sounds pretty normal for someone in chemo treatment. I don't think it should be a problem. Not sure what ANC is.

ANC is absolute neutrophil count meaning all types of white blood cells. My ANC 7 days after my first AC treatment was ZERO!! Anyone experience that? Nice to find that out after outlet shopping the day before!
