Pain near my surgical site

Options

Hi all, I'm having a little freak out here today.

Over the last couple of weeks, I've had a lot of pain just below where my surgical scars are. Both scars are directly under my armpit on the right side. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node removed 4 and 1/2 years ago. Then radiation. No chemo, no tamoxifen or other meds. IDC, Stage 2)

The pain usually comes when I take a breath in, but sometimes just for no reason apparently. It feels like pressure, like there's an air bubble in there, and achy. And the pain can be sudden and sharp, I have to stop whatever I'm doing. And my upper arm/shoulder hurts too.

I've had mastitis and lymphedema on that side since my surgeries, and it doesn't feel like either of those things.

So I'm wondering if I should go get it checked. And who to go to to do that. I have other unrelated health issues and I feel like I go to the doctor all the time and I'm afraid they're going to tell me it's probably nothing. :-(

Any thoughts? Thanks.
