I'm starting T/C chemo next week and I read way too much on the internet and there was something about not sharing a bathroom for 48 hours after chemo and having to flush with the lid closed twice before someone can use it and they should remove their toothbrush from the room, and keep clothing you wear to chemo separate from other laundry. Is all this true?

yes all true. I had my own bathroom because my pee stung quite a bit. did not separate laundry though

I think some of that may be true for certain chemo drugs. But none of that was true for mine, which was TCHP. (I knew someone who was Triple Negative and she mentioned using a separate bathroom while on chemo. I don't know what chemo she had though.)

I was told to flush twice with the lid closed for the first 48 hours after each round of chemo. Also no unprotected sex.

Never heard of anything with laundry!
