Have others had issues with always getting colds and any bug going around years after treatment (in my case including chemo)? I used to be a little susceptible, but now can't go a month without getting a cold. I was living in Australia at the time of diagnosis and didn't get any illnesses then. Now I'm living in the UK, but seriously thinking of having to move back to Oz. I've had blood tests and nothing amiss has been found. Cheers.

Did they check your vitamin D level? It is not on the standard blood panels. I know someone she kept getting sick until she found and corrected the D deficiency. Bc patients often have low D for some reason. The move from a sunny to a cloudy place could play a part in this

Thanks for that. My vitamin D levels have been checked and have at times been lower than I'd like, but still just in the normal range. I do think I got away with things in Oz because I was in South Australia which is very dry. I will try and up my vitamin D even so. I only have to be in the same room as someone with a sniffle and I get it, or cool down a little too much after a run and I'm ill.:(

I get sick all the time but I have a five-year old, lol. I officially hate winter because of cold and flu season and can't stand how everyone goes out and about when sick, shedding virus with no concern for anyone else. Drives me crazy.

Oh, I completely agree about people generously spreading their germs. They get to play the martyr at work, passing it onto others like me. It hits me much worse, then I'm the one that looks bad being off work. Last year, just before Xmas, someone came into work who was so ill they needed to sit with a fan on them to cool their fever. They were only there because they were a bank nurse(!) and wouldn't get paid otherwise. Whilst I've sympathies about the money, they were a nurse for gods sake. You'd think they'd know better. Sorry, I'm surprising myself how incredibly grumpy I am at the moment. Just can't believe I'm sat on my bed with a hotter bottle, unable to run or bike AGAIN. And I only work 2 days per week now, away from the hospital environment too. Grrr.
