If I'm receiving treatment, can my bf give me oral sex?

My MO said to wait for 72 hours after chemo for oral or anything else sexual.

That's kind of what I figured by reading other posts. What about you giving oral? Any restrictions on that at all?

Lol. I'm in biweekly treatments of taxol now. Well my Dr was a little surprised too when my husband first brought up the subject. He asked about it but we are separated so it wasn't about him and I. I then had to explain the situation and have an awkward conversation in front of my husband. So I didn't ask everything I wanted to know lol

I was told nothing sexual without protection for 48 hours after each round. This included flushing the toilet twice after each use! So I would imagine no sharing of any bodily fluids ...

Ugh, so I've heard 48 hours and 72 hours now. A day makes a difference, my treatments are on Thursdays and I typically see the guy I'm dating on Saturdays :(

I am also 63, separated for 8 years but not divorced (long story LOL) and have a friend with benefits.  I have had very interesting conversations with my Onc  He tells me he is living vicariously  through me.  I can only imagine how my file reads.  So yeah for us!!!   We are rocking it!!  That being said  - I am cautious re :treatments and sex   typically wait about 24 hours and have not been given direction that indicates longer
