New Here - Mets to Bones- Frozen With Anxiety/Fear/Depression

I was diagnosed with mets to the entire pelvis (which I know could be much worse) but I can't seem to get out of shock. How long will I live, Can I continue to work while doing this new treatment?, Will my job fire me because I have already had cancer and it is back and I am 55? I don't know the side effects and what if my depression treatment quits working? I did not do well with the anti-hormone therapy becasue I couldn't quit crying at work. Should I just go out on disability before they can fire me? I wasn't kidding when I said crazy thoughts.

What I am not thinking is how I will fight this. How will I be a benefit to others. How on earth can I get my positive attitude back? If there are any threads you can direct me to I would be most grateful. I just don't know how I can fight mental illness and cancer too but I am willing.

The treatment my doctor has started is Faslodex monthly injections and Verzenio daily pills. Plus Zometa bone infusion for osteoporosis monthly.

Thank you for listening.

I am so sorry that you are dealing with this. ((((HUGS))))

There is an entire forum for those dealing with Stage IV, and there is a thread entirely dealing with bone mets. I know those supportive, awesome gals will have lots of advice for you.
