Grade 3 long term survivors
Hi diagnosed last year with a primary breast cancer aggressive Grade 3 in two nodes. I wondered if anyone had long-term survivor stories. I'm terrified of secondary and have read lots of posts of survival but they tend to be stage 3 but grade 1 or maybe 2. Is there anyone with a Grade 3 in nodes with a positive story. Thanks ahead.

Almost 6 years from BMX, 11 nodes out. Doing great😎.

Thanks Spookiesmom for the encouraging story.
I was reviewing another thread in stage IV, and it seems that most of them were grade 3 who eventually developed to stage IV. I guess it is true that grade 3 tumor tends to be more aggressive and likely to spread.
Hope more long term grade 3 survivors will chime in. Bumping up the thread.

Thanks everyone lovely to read the positives really helps those at the beginning of the journey .

As you can see from my stats, working on 6 years:).

bump thank you

Grade 3, also 2 nodes..not so much long term, 2.5 years out, but also great to see how many others. Looking at the board seems like ER+, could counterbalance the grade 3 for better survival.
-
Thanks Sophiemara for your answer. Yes I agree about Er Status though sometimes worry as I was a 6 on the Allred Score and hope this is high enough for a good response.

Hey, hey! I am loving this thread, keep 'em coming! My tumors were so aggressive that my pathologist called my surgeon! And I'm not a long-term survivor but I'm still here almost 3 years later!
-
Not such a success story but I'm still here.
2011 Stage 2, Grade 3 IDC ER+ PR- HER-
2017 single bone met discovered in rib
But I continue to look for the positives too.

Thanks both for your answer be great if it could be a long running thread. And jgbartlett you are a success story. Thank you.

Grade 3 is the most aggressive in both Er+ and Er-. Most important to find it early altho a tumour's characteristics can make a grade 1 into a grade 4 as well. I am 7 years out for the first and 5 years for the second. The second is why I am on anti-hormonals for 10 years,

My girlfriend had grade 3, stage 2 and only had surgery. She is 12 years out.

I'm only 2.3 years out, but here's my stats:
Grade 3, Stage III, high K 67, dirty margins, 3 lymph nodes affected (one BURSTING with cancer), and tumor over 6 cm.
Still here - and NED.
