Dr. Joseph Disa @ MSK - any opinions?

I am still in the midst of neoadj chemo at Sloan Kettering in NYC and have decided on a lumpectomy with bilateral reduction.

My breast surgeon has suggested plastic surgeon, Dr. Joseph Disa to do the reduction. I don't have a consult scheduled with him until I am done with chemo in a couple of months.

Has anyone here been his patient? If so, what are your thoughts?

    Hi. Yes. He is my surgeon. He did my surgery back in 2008 and I am actually scheduled for a revision with him on Monday. I like him and his staff is awesome.

    Hi. I'm just bumping this thread up since I'm going to see Dr. Disa this week.

    I'd love to hear from anyone who has been his patient. Of course I'm looking for reassurance - I'm really nervous about surgery.

    hi. I’m wondering if you ended up having surgery with Dr. Disa. I am scheduled to meet with him later this month to consult on removal of 8 year old implants that I never liked and find out options, I’m thinking DIEP. Please let me know what your experience was with him. Thank you
