Anyone have any ideas on how to treat the joint pain in my fingers from the anastrozole? I've been googling and seeing a lot about vitamin D

    songmaiden,

I too have taken Anastrozole for one year since ending my cancer treatment. My finger joints, mostly my right hand, the two middle fingers are so stiff every morning. My doctor let me take a three week "holiday" from Arimidex. It helped but she decided to let me try another anastrozole med. so I am starting Letrozole (Femara) today, December 1st. I have been taking extra vitamin D3 since it was very low. I hope I can tolerate Femara. I do want to continue the aromatase inhibitor for the next 5-10 years. I hope you do well also. Keep in touch.
