Started XGEVA -- one shot per month and taking Femara, decided against Ibrance because of the potential for lots of blood work which is very difficult for me. Curious about what to expect moving forward. Watched a video about bone mets yesterday with a doc talking about living for "years and years and years and years." Heartened but sounded too good to be true.

My Oncologist also told me my bone mets are very very treatable. My first medications failed me. And my progression remained in my bones. Although my mets have progressed my Oncologist is ok with that because it's still in my bones. Many people respond well immediately. There is a great bone mets thread you can look through.
