When can you exercise

How soon after surgery, BMX, can you go back to regular exercise? I walk and do very easy beginners yoga and was wondering when everyone was able to return to the yoga and using light weights for arms.

    Hi mudd, I asked my surgeon the same thing. I have a 15k coming up in February. My surgery is planned for Dec. 7th. My doctor doesn't think I'll be able to run the race, but she thinks I will be able to walk it. I was given an eight-week recovery period before resuming my normal activities. I'm thinking she might be a bit overly cautious. I too would love to hear from women who have been there.
