Cancer twice in 2015- biopsy on Monday

I had breast cancer twice in 2015 - both breasts. after spending the past couple of months with a lump under my arm I showed it to the oncologist and she sent me to the surgeon. He ordered an ultrasound and biopsy for Monday. I’m kicking myself for not having it checked out earlier but with a 3000 dollar deductible I thought I would wait till January. Now I realize I have been depressed about it for months and convinced myself I have cancer again. I had micro met in a lymph node the first time and did not have radiation- the oncologist was not worried. Now I have this lump near that area and now that the test is close I’m terrified. Having positive biopsy’s the last two times make me fear I’m cancer prone. 😩😩

    Sorry this fear is back again. Glad you are getting it checked out. Unfortunately for many, money is a factor for us and we put things off for ourselves in order to take care of other things first.

    Hoping it comes back as nothing.

    48 hours untilresults, I think waiting this time is harder than the last two times. They saw 3 enlarged lymph nodes, I was hoping it would be scar tissue or something. The clock is moving so slow!!! 😩

    Thinking of you. Keep us posted. You also may want to post in the "concerned about recurrence" section. Many of us there have been in your shoes. (((HUGS))) hoping for benign results.
