Liver Mets and Taxol (success stories?)

Hello Everyone,

So after two cycles of Femara and Ibrance my Mom's liver numbers aren't moving in the right direction anymore. She's starting Taxol this Thursday, and I am having another panic attack that things have gotten away from us. I just want to know has anyone had success with Taxol knocking back mets with a compromised liver? I'm really, really panicking right now.

I did Femara and Ibrance and they did nothing for my liver mets. I moved on to Taxol a few months ago and on last scan, the tiny tumors disappeared and the larger tumors shrank. I have scans next month, and hope to have no tumors at all.

I have liver mets and am on Taxol with herceptin and perjeta. My tumors have also decreased dramatically after just 3 treatments. I did have elevated liver enzyme numbers before treatment.

Thanks Henrietta, my Mom is ER+PR+ HE2- so I don't believe Herceptin will work for her but hopefully Taxol will.
