Neeliecor- thanks for taking the time to keep us updated, especially when you feel so bad. I hope you got the nausea under control. It’s an awful way to feel. I’m so sorry you feel this way. I’ve read where some people alternate two types of nausea pills to combat that problem. (Down from a 6 hr dosage period - to a 3 hr dosage period) What about the use of Imodium? That was on my shopping list to have on hand that was suggested at my side effects class. With all the different pills I take, it will be hard to know when and what I should take. Just rest yourself and I hope you will feel better soon!

Hi All - quick question!
I have my BMX with immediate reconstruction Next Thursday the 30th. My daughter has an IL State Swim banquet that Monday the 4th. For all of you who have gone through a similar surgery was there any way you could have attended a banquet 4 days later? My husband plans to go with her but I hate that I may be missing this.
Thanks!

I have a genetic test and I came back positive for pms2. But not brca 1&2. But my mom her sister my dads olders sister and grandma on both Mom and Dads side had breast cancer. So after finding a lump that turned out to be nothing. My ps and os decided after all my other help issues ( I also have grand map seizures and Tourette's) that it was best to do a preventative surgery. Better to take care of it once then a bunch of times. So it has sucked! But I will have a much better chance of my future still being mine. But I have some questions. Im a text the stage where my expanders re being filled. But one looks like a flat hamburger and the other a hard softball. I'm weird how they willing look after exchange. Anyone else's have this happen? I'm 130 5'7 Help!!??

Hi MBPooch, hope all goes well with your surgery next week. My BMX was October 20th and my first outing, other than doctor appointments, was November 7th. From a pain and fatigue standpoint, I think I could have done something earlier...but wearing regular clothes will be your biggest challenge. You will have 4 drains to deal with and they make dressing a little challenging. Also, just be sure that people only give you "gentle hugs"...you will be tender and not able to raise your arms very high. Good luck, hope you can make it.
Billivincent, the expanders are awful! I've had three fills and they are hard as rocks. Mine look like softballs as well and while they are similar in size, one is a little higher than the other. My PS constantly assures me the implants will feel and look much more natural. Can't wait for that, but I've got 6 weeks of radiation to get through before my exchange. Hang in there!

Got great news today. My oncotype came back as 15 so NO CHEMO. Got Rx for Tamoxifen. I have held off on my fills waiting for the results, but will start back. I have the Aeroforms so I can do at my own pace. I am over half. I am ready to get these out. Now that they are fuller they are super uncomfortable.

Yey - great news Adrachim - you are so lucky. Will be a breeze for you
