Hey Hey 11 Year’s Today!!
Hey All,
Just want to let everyone fighting this battle to know that as of today I have survived 11 years NED!! I so remember the call that morning, having no idea what lay before me (thank God!). I have done it all: surgery, Chemo, radiation, AI’s, Tamoxifen, reconstruction. I must say it was all a pain in the a##, but it was all very doable. And here I am today, 11 years later feeling good and very grateful. Loving life.
Hang in there. The time goes by faster than you can imagine. Don’t forget laughter. It truly has healing properties.
Bless you all!
Cyndi

Hi Cyndi, congrats and a question: are you on any AIs today? And did you have any + nodes?
-
claireinaz, I had a huge 9 CM tumor with 2+ nodes. I was on Femara for five years and then switched to Tamoxifen 5 years ago and it looks like I will continue with Tamoxifen for another 5 years (maybe more?).
