edited November 2017 in Waiting for Test Results

So my biopsy was last Wen oct 8th trying to be patient but omg it's hard. I keep reading these papers BiRad 5 highly suspected primary malignancy spiculated mass

I called this morning and was told no results yet... Crazy cause before my mammogram I wasn't even aware I had a lump/mass but since the biopsy I'm having discomfort and keenly aware of it now... I'm so worried and trying hard not to obsess and jump to worse case scenario but I'm scared especially since the radiologist who did the biopsy said that he's 95% sure it's malignant. However only the biopsy results will know for sure... Google is only confusing me more and scaring me but I can't seem to stop goggling

Worried, I do know how difficult it is to wait, and a BIRADS 5 finding is certainly concerning. There are women on these boards who have gotten a b9 pathology report after a BIRADS 5 biopsy (typically a radial scar).

I would suggest that you try to stay on your original thread, or even the next one. continuing to start new threads makes it really hard, for those folks who are already following your previous threads, to get updates. And if someone comes along who has a situation like yours, and the thread just comes to a halt, without a final update, they will be a bit lost as to what happened. Just a thought.

Hoping you are in the 5%!

You could copy any additional information from this post, paste it in the most up to date older thread and then delete this one. Other than that, I don't know. Sorry!

I don’t even know how to look for my other post sorry. So I will just continue here. Update my dr called me told me over the phone I have stage 2 breast cancer. Unfortunately I can’t recall much else of what she said I started having a anxiety attack. I’ve calmed down a bit and I’m on my way to her office to get some more in depth expl

"I don't even know how to look for my other post..."

    Hi WorriedMe77...,

A couple of ways. Both of these involve the "Menu." If you're working from a PC or Mac, you'll find the Menu in Dark Blue on the top of the left side of each page. If you're working from a mobile version, you'll find a button on the upper right that says "Menu."

In either case, there are two things to try. First is the entry labeled "Dashboard." Scrolling down in that entry you'll find PMs, your own most recently begun topics/threads, as well as your most recent posts on all posts/threads. On each of those entries you'll find two links. You want to click on the first one, which will take you straight to one of your posts. The other link (the second one) will take you to the board that the thread is on, but not to your thread or your post.

If you still haven't found the post you're looking for, go back to the Menu, and choose "Search." Enter your own username, and it will find all of your posts.

    HTH,

    LisaAlissa
