    There are some forms of DCIS (which is a stage 0 breast cancer) that have a classic appearance on mammo and one can often make that call. If there is invasion on a microscopic level, that would only diagnosed by a pathologist after a biopsy or lumpectomy.

    Thank You MTlady...that has helped...i have lost 5 siblings to cancer. 2 with breast cancer...2 with saliva gland cancer & 1 with lung...and i lost those in such a short time...the youngest being 39 years old. I can i am just so afraid because of that & what i seen them go through. I so appreciate your response. I go this month March 26 for 6 month followup and i have frightening days. I been diagnosed with Marked anxiety anyways and this throws my anxiety overboard..Thank You and i find this sight helpful...God Bless all of you here & will be praying for each one .❤❤❤ BTW they are micro califications clusters.     Ty Beatmom...that means a lot. Just makes me more scared...but i think i will be fine..🙏🙏🙏🙏...first time i have had to have 2 diagnostic mammos...birads 3...2nd one march 16 this year. Terrified...and i meant ty MTwoman in upper post lol...my mind on overload! 😊
