Dear Husband and Son,
Thank you for allowing us to share in your grief. Ebru's kindess, compassion, wisdom and strength have been so inspirational to so, so many across the world. She is truly proof that one person can indeed make a difference. Ebru touched many lives ~ her light will continue warm the hearts of all who cherished her. The wisdom of her words will forever be here on BCO to encourage, inspire and give hope to others as the years go by.
Please know you both are in the thoughts and prayers of all of us here.
Ebru, peaceful journey to you. May your destination be one of peace, tranquility and beauty.

I am so sad to hear this. Leaving a child is the worst. I read most threads from the beginning and I have copied many of her posts She will be missed and remembered.

Dear Ebru, sorry your time has been cut short. Dear husband and Son condolences for your loss. Ebru will always be in your heart. I lost my husband to cancer too. The pain does go away after a time. Give yourself time to heal. Sleep when you can. It helped me to talk of him often with those that new him best. Also, talking to him directly helped. If you pray, I prayed almost none stop for a very long time. Intently at bedtime. Then during the day when my mind was free. This more than anything gave me solace and peace.

I am filled with sadness at this news and also grateful that such a wonderful woman is free of thus awful disease. She loved her family so deeply. My heart is with you

Sending you both my deepest condolences on the loss of your wife and mother. Ebru was a wonderful friend to those on this board. Her wisdom and insight helped many manage their own cancer experience. My wish is that the memories of this strong and loving woman sustain you both in the days ahead.

She was one of my very first friends here on bco.org. I will miss her so much. I just wish I could have made it to Turkey to meet her in person!

Thank you for letting us know. As you can see, Ebru was loved here, she was funny, caring, and a force to be reckoned with. I enjoyed the times when she took us on photographic tours of her homeland. We are all thinking of you both, and our Dear Ebru. x
