Hallo,
I am Willow Rheinheimer, I live in Weilerbach, Germany. On Friday of last week my doctor tell me my lumpectomy come back positive. I have several lumps in neck and breasts, doctor tell me they too are lymph nodes and that he want to start radiation treatment for me. I am scared for what may happen. Are there any experiences like mine that can be shared?

Hi Willow,
I am sorry to read of your Lymphoma. I hope you are doing well.
My father had lymphoma and I am researching the connection between Lymphoma and exposure to jet fuel/ jet pollution.
There are some studies that are now showing that military jets or commercial jet pollution can cause lymphoma.
I noticed that you are from Weilerbach. Which is very close to Ramstein Air Force Base. Did you ever work on that base, or right next to it?
I apologize for my question--
But do you think you might have been exposed to jet pollution from there?
My father was a jet pilot at Ramstein (and now he has lymphoma)--
By the way, I also lived in Weilerbach as a boy for three years (with many fond memories, such a beautiful town. Some of the best people I ever knew were in Weilerbach--It was a very wonderful place to be a boy).
Anyway, I have also noticed that former US Air Force kids (children) seem to be also getting Lymphoma.
Maybe because we always went to school on the Air Force Bases.
For example, many Air Force schools (kinder-schules) are right next to the jet runway--
For example at Ramstein, my elementary school was right next to the runway and the jets took off / landed almost directly over our elementary school (Southside elementary, at Ramstein AFB).
Anyway one other (former) Air Force kid ("kinder", auf Deutsch) that I know has just died of Lymphoma, and my father (an air force jet pilot) has lymphoma and I know of other cases too.
I am trying to find out if there is a connection between this Jet fuel exposure (or jet pollution exposure) and lymphoma.
If you know of anything, or if you just needt to talk for any reason, please send me a message.
My thoughts and best wishes are with you. I hope you are surrounded by love from your family and friends during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Phil, Air Force kid, lived in Weilerbach Germany, 1967-1970
Did you ever work at Ramstein Air Force base? Or right next

I know this is an old post, but hoping you get an alert. Did you find anything else upon researching?
I was born in 1990 on US military base in Berlin Germany with suspected breast lymphoma. Am curious what youve found.
