I am 44 years old and I’ve had A bloody discharge from one duct in my Left breast for the last month. I had a mammogram and ultrasound that showed nothing a Ductogram that they could not complete Because I fainted 3 Times and had a seizure. I had an MRI and just got the results and they found three “lesions“ in my left breast and two “lesions and “in my right breast. Report says MRI abnormal BIRADS3 follow up 3 months if no surgery for duct issue. None of the lesions show cause for bleeding.Has anyone had any experience with something like this? I have an appointment with breast surgeon Friday and she wants me to re attempt ductogram. I told her I want 5 biopsies not a follow up mri in 3 months. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think 5 biopsies on Bi-Rads 3 most-likely benign areas probably won't solve the problem and would be extremely unpleasant for likely no reason. I think I'd just wait until I heard what the surgeon suggests before I decided. Can the bleeding duct not be isolated? The most common reason for a single bleeding duct is a benign papilloma, but cancer needs to be excluded too. It sounds like with mammo, ultrasound & MRI not showing anything alarming that is the case. Sorry you are having such trouble with getting this solved.

yes it’s clear what duct it is. That’s why she is pushing me to retry the ductogra. Wouldn’t a papilloma have shown on the Mri?
