Shortness of Breath - Should I be concerned?

About 18 months ago I had an abnormal mammogram, followed by needle biopsy and excisional biopsy. Subsequent 6 month and 12 month mammograms were normal. Now experiencing shortness of breath for almost 2 weeks, which I have seen my PC provider for. D-dimer lab result is slightly elevated but CT and PE Study of lungs is normal. BNP, PFT, EKG all normal. Is there anything I should be concerned about from a Breast Health perspective? Last screening mammogram was in July and was normal.

momof4, what is your PCP saying is the next step? given your short interval follow up with normal findings, and no new breast symptoms, this doesn't sound like a breast issue to me. Did they do spirometry?

Thanks for your response MTwoman. PC wants to wait and see if it resolves itself. Spirometry was normal as well.

mono. Interesting.

My mammo came clear year after year. Just before diagnosis I noticed that singing would leave me breathless. I had a huge Tumorpressing on my chest wall. I wonder if that is why I was breathless. I was also very exhausted. The lobular tumor didn't show up in my dense breasts.
