Mine lasted several months. I recently got an infection (it ended up being only on the skin but my breast was red and hot and the surgeon was worried and went back in to check things out). There was some junky stuff in there that looked like the leftovers of a hematoma (blood in the area) and so that might have been part of the problem with the original "seroma". This time, my drain was removed after about a week and I had less than 10 cc of drainage for the last 3 days it was in. I have done compression with a foam pad and my compression tank top. I haven't had any problems. Knock on wood!

I know this is an old thread. I noticed a slippery movable lump in my upper pole area of chest. I had fat grafting this past July in that area. I've had many complications including a wound that did not heal for 4 months or more. I also devolved cellulitis in that area this past March, in hospital for 5 days. What can it be?, I'm very scared.
