THIRD biopsy tomorrow..so scared
Hey, I just wanna see if anyone else has dealt with TWO tumors in one breast, then a suspicious mass on the other breast, or another tumor in the other breast.
Thank goodness my surgeon didn't just rush me in for a lumpectomy when my mammo/US only found ONE tumor in my right breast. An MRI revealed a second one. Both are 1 cm. Both are lower grade, ER+/PR+, HE2 negative.
Now I have to go Monday for my THIRD biopsy (ugh, I hate them so much..both the previous ones were hell).
I am so hoping that this thing on the left turns out to be nothing. When i got the 2nd right biopsy, the dr said she didn't think it was anything to worry about, but I'm getting the biopsy anyway to be sure. (At least I THINK that's what she said? I was so freaked out, who knows. I did ask her if she thought it was cancer and she seemed more positive. The one on the right...she said was probably cancer and she was right.)
My biggest fear is this one will have different biomarkers and be triple negative or something.
I'm so scared right now.
At least it's small, too. So small, they couldn't find it on the damn mammogram I had where the 1st tumor was found. Ugh.
So I MIGHT have, bilateral, multicentric tumors. Wonderful. ![]()
Also worried about lymph node involvement. Although the MRI didn't show anything. But I know that means nothing.

Well, this actually went better than the last 2.
And the Dr. reiterated that she didn't think it was cancer because it didn't have irregular margins.

Glad to know this one went better. Maybe you're getting better at it! ;-)
How long of a wait until the results are in? Hoping it's nothing ...

Last time it was 3 days. I'm seeing my breast surgeon on Friday.

And thanks!! Yeah, me too. I dunno..I have a more positive feeling about this one. The last 2, I kind of felt like were gonna be cancer.
