Hi Sisters,
Got a text from Patty yesterday.....
"Thanks. I am alive. Just have felt so poorly physically and mentally. Have had real struggle getting the right words out of my mouth. I can know what I want to say and can see it just can't get the right word. I went back several times this post to correct wrong parts. Seen mo last Thur but was to ill for tx. Blood counts low WBC and neutraphil abs and these horrible mouth sores. Ouch I have a pet sch Monday so we will wait and see. Mo concerned thinking Rx changing time. I disagree. Just wanna wait and see results go from there. Last time mo said this is last ORAL tx avail. Only left IV chemo which o have said I won't do again.
Anyway thanks for checking on me.
Plan to return to bco in a day or two. I miss everyone and wonder how they r doing. Please tell Sas thanks for calling to check on me. Easier for me to text than talk."

Prayer request from Patty this morning:
"I've started vomiting more and feeling very dehydrated. If stays same or gets worse here in a hour or two I'll probably end in hospital and boys going to family friends house for the night since I won't be here. Breaks my heart to even think about a hospital stays. Been there done that too many times. But I tell myself had I let dr admitt me when I seen him I would be hydrated. Pain and vomiting controlled. Would have most likely already been better and sent home. Just dragging out the misery here. Wondering if it's something I'll need antibiotic for. Several times I wouldn't have gotten well at home with no antibiotics. Praying for healing. For symptoms to stop. Most importantly for boys to come out of all this being compassionate not jaded."

Sending thoughts of strength and deep concern. Thinking of you Patty and your boys. ~M~

patty girl! I think of you every day. I hate that you feel so crappy again. Hopefully a quick trip to hospital to get fluids and antibiotics and then home to the boys! The stress and trauma of all you are going through/have been going through...it can really diminish ones mental capacity. Don’t feel pressure to have to update us. We just love you so much and hope that you can feel all the love and prayers wrapped around you! We are here for you
