Allergies after radiation?
I have never, ever had any allergies until September of 2016. Suddenly, I was having hay fever symptoms. Now I have skin reactions to - something. Extreme itching and hives, thankfully just on my arms for now.
The only thing that is different is the fact that I ended my radiation on July 28th, 2016. Just before the allergic reactions happened.
Am I crazy, girls? Or has anyone else noticed their immune system having this reaction to radiation?

I have become awfully allergic (skin wise) since breast cancer treatment. I don't know if something in the meds during surgery did it, or the radiation, but something is weird. I get itchy hives on my face that come and go for no reason I can figure out. I keep zyrtec on hand just in case it ever gets severe.

I have developed some crazy itchy skin, but I'm attributing it to tamoxifen which am on my 4th week. So I been on Zyrtec to see if the symptoms get better - which they have - but will they persist is the question? So whats happening - I have itchy bouts all over - BUT the main focus is my lips and the area around my lips - sooo bad I want to claw my face out.... the skin has become sooo dry it just peels off, so I put A&D ointment and Zyrtec - and its helping a lot.

I have sensitive skin before chemo. Post chemo even small pressure or caressing/massaging gives me welts...
