Does anyone know if Melissa Ethridge's BC has recurred?

I just read about her recent arrest at the Canadian border when marijuana oil was found on her bus. According to police, Melissa said she uses it to manage pain from cancer, but I couldn't find any news to suggest a recurrence.

    I don't think so. This is from NY Daily News article today about her arrest-

    "Etheridge was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer in October 2004 and survived a lumpectomy and five rounds of chemotherapy and radiation but hasn't relapsed since."

    Glad to hear it, and I hope it's true, but how do you have cancer pain if you don't have cancer? They don't say what kind of "marijuana oil" it was but she sure looks happy in her mug shot!

    Lmao! I "survived" chemo, a lumpectomy, radiation, a hip bone met and the addition of brain mets last week, I'm not in pain. Don't fool with Canadian boarder patrol, they do not enjoy being lied to and don't care who you are or what you do.

    A lot of women do have continuing joint and bone pain many years after chemotherapy and radiation treatment. I have no idea if this is her case or not.

    Lots of people have ongoing pain from surgical scars, for example, and some use topical CBD or THC.

    My port has been out for over two years and some days the area still has major pain zaps at and around the site. My big toes still ache enough from chemo to wake me up at night. The cancer itself caused no pain.

    I have shoulder pain myself from tamoxifen, but I would never call it cancer pain. It's pain from the treatment.

    I'm not judging her regardless, I just wondered if she is well because I hope she is. Hate to hear about any recurrence, and for some reason when it happens to a famous person it makes me feel doomed. They have so much money and access that if they can't survive, how will I?
