new bra size

Hi Everyone

I had a bilateral MX on August 22. I am in the process of reconstruction with tissue expanders. Wow these things are not fun!! anyway I am trying to decide how to figure out how big to go. I'm a petite person and wore a A size bra before. I figured that since I was now able to "choose" my size I should go up at least a size to a size B. I told my PS that and he said he did not know how to tell what a size B was! That surprised me so I thought I would pop into a victoria secret shop and be measured. I did that while visiting a mall outside my home town. The girl there told me I measured a 34C. OK I didn't think that sounded quite right so today I went to a different Victoria secret and got measured again. This time I measured a 34A!!! how can the measurements be so off?? The girl today told me that the cup size is not a definate size. Meaning if I was a 32B I would be a A in a 34. now I'm so confused and not sure what size I'm currently at!! I go back on Wed. to the PS and need to let him know if I want to continue with fills. has anyone been this far and how did you decide when you were the correct size?

Different bras are cut differently. Not every 32 B will be the same as every other manufacturers will be. There can also be variances within a manufacturer by the different 'style/cut' of the bras.

I had a UMX so have one side to 'match my prothesis'. I wear, depending on the style/cut bras, anything between a 32 B or C to a 34 A or B. I always try them on to be sure of a good/comfortable fit (with 'pricey' bras). I do buy a few cheap/inexpensive ones that are 'cute' at WalMart sometimes 'just because they are cute' and CHEAP so no real investment to worry about if not 'great' fit.
