What makes chemotherapy necessary if I know my biopsy tissues ER is 100 PR 15 HER negative nodes and margins are clean and my cancer is Infiltrating Mammary Carcinoma? I have my post lumpectomy/SLB appointment with the surgeon today and will be informed on pathology after surgery. I meet with a radiologit in one week to discuss radiation and with an oncologist in 2 weeks to determine if chemp is needed and to discuss an aromatose inhibitor. I wish I had a team meeting with everyone involved with helping me survive today and not in bits & pieces. Since I was misdiagnosed due to a pathologist mis-reading my biopsy as ADH and not as cancer, I am praying that everyone I am now trusting makes the most informed decision from now on forward (including me).

Hi, Kaso. You'll get more pertinent replies if you start a new thread. This one is for people who did their chemo in 2015. Most of them no longer post on this site, and most other members don't look at posts with titles that show them to pertain to a particular cohort.

Just checking in to keep this board active.

It's so odd to look back at a time when we were first meeting on here, and we would go by screen names!

Since then, many of us have met in person, and we are planning a huge getaway in March to celebrate our ongoing bond and friendship. From relocations to divorces to taking life on the road, we continue to support and nurture each other.

The bracelet continues its travels. It has been across the world and back.

If you're a newbie and stumble across this board, you will always find help and encouragement here. You are not alone.

    Gentle hugs!!!

Looking forward to meeting you! So far, I've met 8 BCO women in real life (plus a few local people who also use the site), and I've got a date with KBeee this month.

If you're a member of this thread but not active in our Facebook group--

If you received the traveling bracelet at some point, please message me if you'd like to hear more about, and perhaps participate in, a project related to it!
