    Dexamethasone is a type of corticosteroidmedication.[1] It is used in the treatment of many conditions, including rheumatic problems, a number of skin diseases, severe allergies, asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease, croup, brain swelling, and along with antibiotics in tuberculosis.[1] In adrenocortical insufficiency, it should be used together with a medication that has greater mineralocorticoideffects such as fludrocortisone.[1] In preterm labor, it may be used to improve outcomes in the baby.[1] It may be taken by mouth, as an injection into a muscle, or intravenously.[1] The effects of dexamethasone are frequently seen within a day and last for about three days.[1

    Important information

    You should not use Lasix if you are unable to urinate.

    Do not take more Lasix than your recommended dose. High doses of furosemide may cause irreversible hearing loss.

    Before using Lasix, tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, enlarged prostate, urination problems, cirrhosis or other liver disease, an electrolyte imbalance, high cholesterol, gout, lupus, diabetes, or an allergy to sulfa drugs.

    Tell your doctor if you have recently had an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) or any type of scan using a radioactive dye that is injected into your veins. Do not take more of this medication than is recommended. High doses of furosemide may cause irreversible hearing loss. If you are being treated for high blood pressure, keep using this medication even if you feel fine. High blood pressure often has no symptoms

    Ketoprofen is used to relieve pain from various conditions. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis. This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation.

    So for 3 days one dozis in the morning and one at evening.

    I guess combination of the 3 is to releave the issue.

    E- I did not realize your sister has such extreme paralysis. There is much more going on here, and hope the MRI can provide some answers to this situation so they know how to provide care for Elizabeth.

    ok just got in. So MRI tmw morning

    The doctor finally saw the results of the 1 first 1 and she needed blood test and other test done alredy today for been able to do MRI tmw first thing.

    He says he does not think it is cancer but it is something worse.

    She has an infection or imflamation in the spine which is so cevere that she can die any moment now .reson is that it is 2 cm away front the brain and if it goes up she will have a respiratory colapso and past away. He needs the MRI to no exactly where to operate URGENT surgery to introduce a catheters in the spine to drain it. . If she survive she may not regain all her motors so sorry my English is very bad I am trying to explain this as best as I can.

    again I am not sure why I still think this is carcel . Only till the MRI tmw confirms this I will believe it. Cuz the doctor still says he does not comprehens what caused this ?

    E- infections can be treated. I am glad they found out what is happening so they can get her on heavy antibotics. Praying hard over here she will pull through.

    jazz me too I am hopping . But the ink in the MRI today ll be able to determine her next step. I just hope is no cancer we will know soon.?

    I was no able to sleep so I called in sick today I am so nervous .any noise makes me jump

    Oh jazz I forgot to say I loved the pictures you shares of your beautiful flower. Well done I ll send you a doc I did for one of my classes.

    Also working on a design for another project.

    I ll send you by email. Now I have no brain so work for Scholls is helping me to keep mind off the drama which is just brutal.

    E- I think you needed a day off anyways after covering all those people being out. I am just sorry it is because of this and waiting to hear about your sister. Try to spend time in your garden, get some exercise, meditate, etc. to comfort yourself how ever you need to.

    We will be here and waiting to hear any news from you as you know and want to discuss.

    ok all the MRI are done and she is on her way to home to eat and straight to bed. Now there is nothing we can do the dr will see the cd tmwww

    This is just a nightmare. And we will know his opinion tmw but the report won't be available till next week Thrusday imagine. But tmw he will say what is the plan. If he is convince that there is no cancer then surgery will follow to place a device in her spine cord to drain and that will take a year of no doing anything like house shores no lifting any weight no running nothing just get up walk sit eat and shit. But that is if the surgery is done which will be her option if there is no cancer. So that is what I know so far. I will have a shower now and will go to achool . Then I ll try to rest tonight if I can and work and school tmw

    Recovering well from sx, from my losses (uncle and beloved guinea pig, not so much). Got drains out on Mon and have a check on Mon to make sure holes are closing.

    E- I hope you can get some much needed rest. Pace yourself with school and work. I'm betting they'd be willing to work with you during this difficult time.. xxx

    I forgot I didn't post pics of my new baby guinea pig. Her name is Bella-Rose, Bella for short. Bella means pretty in italian and Rose comes from her having rosettes in her hair as it goes with Abyssinian breed. She is 5 weeks here. Mooshy was smooth hair breed.

    I think these past days have been so bad waiting every second to have some sense or news .

    Today the clinic will have the report cuz yesterday the dame doctor saw the MRI cds and still said he needs the report cuz he can't figure out from the mimages? Fist he said he could then he now says he needs the report I am not sure what is what?

    So frustrating and the surgery itself seems very complicated the is mayor risk she won't be back to normal ever. This is very very hard.

    BB- yes, I heard that too. She is on the HBO series Veep and she just got an Emmy award for her role. It is a great show, the entire show got a couple. Sad news. I hope she does okay. I notice a lot of musicians and actors seem to go very public with it (Joan Lunden a few years back, Olivia Newton John with her reoccurrence, etc.) I think it is great to create public awareness but also would hate the world to know so that every conversation where you go ends up being about cancer. I hope she does well through treatment and continues to live a long life.

    Ugh, pinktober is on the horizon. Get ready folks......

    Happy birthday to me. Not sure why they call it 'happy.' Once you reach a certain age, there isn't that kind of anticipation to being a year older, unlike when you are young counting down to 16, 18, 21, 25.. Time seems to fly so much faster once you reach middle age. Folks older than me say it's worse when you are 'old.'

    So I reflect on this past year as I do every year. Survived some complications to do with cancer stuff. Was an overall ok year until this month hit then it all shot to shit. From a complex sx which recovery was longer and harder to 2 days later finding out my fav uncle 30 min away suddenly passed to the gut wrenching finding my beloved Mooshy the way I did. I have to say. This month is worse than any single month I went through during active cancer txs. I would go through all of it with complications, infections, everything if it would bring my uncle and Mooshy back. But alas, we can't make such deals with the powers to be. So today I faced one less happy birthday card in the mail and no Mooshy. Don't get me wrong, I love Bella-Rose, but I yearn so bad for Mooshy, my bff (best fuzzy friend) who saw me through all the cancer shit and struggles. She was the only one here with me 24/7 providing unconditional love. Didn't matter I was bald, bloated, in pain, sad, scared....etc. She will never ever be forgotten. I can't wait until I can get someone here to open the box the urn is in so I can set up her memorial on my coffee table as a beautiful tribute of a life lost way too soon. I'll never forget the vets finding. She was healthy, could not find anything wrong to cause her death. And she died alone thinking I abandoned her. How the hell do you get past that. I can't.

    Another year ends and a new one begins. I smile on the outside but cry on the inside. Here's to a new chapter in life..

    Oh BB, so so sorry to hear. The way Mooshy died was tragic but I can't imagine putting down a beloved pet. I'd probably do the same thing if my pet was old, has medical issues and I couldn't take him with me and he's unadoptable. I've seen on animal planet that there are some people that take in to their homes the aging nobody will adopt pets to give them a great end of life. Have you checked into this? Maybe that could be an option. My heart breaks for you. Those of us who live alone really feel the impact. I'm still reeling with Mooshy even though I have Bella coming on 3 weeks now. Sending you love and strength. xo
