Had a core needle biopsy on 9/20. Waiting for results driving me up a wall. Have a small nodule on left breast couldn't see what it was. The right breast is fibrocystic changes. No biopsy on the right breast.

Just waiting for results.

I am waiting too, biospy was on the 18th. I wouldn't mind except I was told I would get a call in 3 days. Crossing my fingers we both hear tomorrow!!

waiting with you ladies. Had an excisional biopsy on the 20th. My appointment isn't until Thursday. Everyone says waiting is the worst. I hope that's the case! This all started on 6/15 so I've been waiting for ever!

Praying for benign results for everyone. My mom went through this exactly last year. Her mass was very small and she opted to have a mastectomy. Doing very well. Just takes a pill once a day. She was 79 when she found out.

Join the club, Snosafred. Been waiting since the 13th. It's hard to not let your mind go to dark places when the wait is so much longer than the Dr. said it would be. Hang in there!

How long is the pain from having a core needle biopsy? I still have some aches but don't know if it's from having fibrocystic breasts or from biopsy. I was told to avoid caffeine.

I had my biopsy on Sept 18 and still feel occasional twinges. I have lots of bruising and the needle hole has not scabbed over yet.
