Sore on underside of breast

Hi, it’s my first time posting here so I hope I’m in the right forum. I’m 21 and on the underside of my breast there is something like a small sore, it is kind of red/yellow in colour, any idea what this is? Could this be breast cancer? I’m really worried

    Hey Kelly!

    Sorry you are here with breast concerns :( Honestly, it sounds more like an infection of some kind. I have chronic yeast bacteria under my breasts and lived on Nystatin cream. From my experience, I also have had red pimpleish looking sores that come and go. Plus, you are young. That works in your favor as it is statistically very unlikely that it would be cancer. I would suggest seeing a obgyn to assess your condition.

    Hey Kelly, you could also consult a dermatologist as skin conditions are quite common. You could even just start with your GP and get a referral to your ob or a derm if he/she doesn't know how to treat it. It would be very unusual for it to be bc in someone of your age, but following up with a doctor about any new or concerning symptoms is good health advocacy!
