Chemo and Sex

So last week I was diagnosed with TNBC and was told that I will have to have 4 months of chemo. 😣 I have recently decided to get a divorce and started dating someone new. For years I did not have and did not want to have sex (due to hormones and low sex drive). I finally started feeling normal again. I'm young, 32, and I just want to continue to feel normal. With all of that being said; did you want to or did you have sex during Chemo? Is sex drive low and not normal? Are there medicines to help with low sex drive? Thanks!

Hi Superwoman! I am also TN. Finishing up AC tomorrow. Chemo can obviously cause side effects and every one is different. Some women talk about vaginal dryness - I never had it. Anxiety can obviously lower your sex drive and this is a really anxious and frightening time. Throughout chemo me and my husband have been having sex once a week, which for us is less than normal but fine. It all really depends on how you feel.
