ON-Q pain pump

Hi,

I had my double mastectomy this past Monday and was released on Tues. Evidently my pain pump was clamped off so I wasn't getting the medicine for the pain. They discovered this yesterday, unclamped it and told me to wait 24 hrs to see if I felt any relief.

Sorry to say, I have absolutely no relief. The pump has done nothing for me :(

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the solution?

suzie: so sorry to hear that you did not get the relief that the pain pump was suppose to deliver. I hope there is someone out here that has a similar experience and a solution that works for you.

The surgeon "forgot" to place the promised pain pump when my son had a shoulder repair! You should ask for a copy of the incident report and what will be done so that someone else won't go through what you have. I'm so sorr
