Anyone have the Radiological Seed Placement before surgery?

Hi Ladies,

I'm having this instead of the wire localization tomorrow. Hadn't really thought about the procedure itself, but as I read about it, it sounds an awful lot like a stereotactic needle biopsy. Anyone know? I was just planning on taking myself, but I was so sore after my CNB that hubs had to pick me up. Thinking I'll put him on standby now that I think about it. Appreciate any input from your experience.

    I had that procedure instead of wire localization. I went myself. No big deal for me. I think it was easier than the stereo. But then again I didn't have a problem with the stereotactic biopsy either. But it wouldn't hurt to have someone on standby....

    I too had it done (2 seeds placed) before my surgery. I don't recall any issues at all, scary at first but uneventful. The surgical drains were my biggest nightmare, a royal pain in the butt!
