Di .Thanks for asking ..DGS has gone from becoming totally non -verbal , starting mid April , to starting to speak again 2 weeks ago !!! He's still not right .. extremely over emotional ( even for a 4 year old ) and prefers his own company ..but something has happened...to give us hope again ..please God .
Iris .. definitely in your pocket..good idea to take a friend ..and all of us too !
Penny ..hope all goes well with your CT scan ..
Molly ..how are you ???
Tomboy ..good to see you !
Hugs to all ..

Lucy, it does my heart good to hear the update on DGS!!!
-
Lucy, glad to hear your DGS is turning a corner!
-
Hi everyone, I am so happy to hear that Lucy's DGS is improving!!! Wyatt's doing well. The incisions look great. We go next week for the first adjustment of the device. I am still having vertigo, balance problems and headaches. I go back to the ENT end of the month. My MO didn't want to hear about it at all so I am looking for a new MO. Iris, I hope your scan shows good news. Sorry about not responding to everyone. Hi Di, Jan, ducky, Octogirl, PoppyK, Lucy, Tomboy, Sandy ET all. I leave you with my homemade Pizza with my own dough.

I had to post right away, so i'd be very close to that pizza! I'm glad you are looking for a new onc, I still haven't gotten around to that. But I hope you find a good one Moll. Lucy, hello and I am so happy to hear you DGS is getting better! Very good news. Di I don't know if it does get any better. My sister had the nerve to call me a few days before my BD a couple weeks ago, didn't say happy bd, didn't apologize for all the name calling or even mention it, but wondered if I had heard anything about a measly checking account of my mom's I may have mentioned here. Wondering if I'd heard anything! And left a second message on actually BD, saying she missed me etc missed her mom. Unbelievable. I am going near where that nest of vipers lives, to see my mom's friends, and a couple of my friends, and my one brother starting tomorrow morning. Traveling with my man to Guerneville for his nieces wedding first, which should be pretty nice, and then on to Sacramento two days later to see the friend my mom and I shared for almost 50 years! She the one who went and saved/bought/almost kinda stole some of my Mom's things for me, from the yard sale.
It still catches me off guard, almost like a blow to my stomach that my mom is gone. I think about her quite a bit, and just think its sad that many of my family competely misunderstood her. I may just have to write her story down. Maybe it is getting a little better, how bout you Di?
-
Tomboy hoping your trip is not as stressful as you think it is going to be. I was thinking of my mom this week too - I usually send her a BD card at the end of october. Her BD is Nov. 1st. Not sending any mother's birthday cards anymore. Seems weird.
Molly so glad to hear about Wyatt is doing better. As Far as the pizza - oh my! Now I need a pizza!
Iris and Sandy - thinking about you!
You all have gone through so much. Wouldn't it be so good to have a worry-free or non-stressful day?
I found a ND/MD in town that my DIL's doctor suggested to me. He has a long wait list, but figured I would get on it and at least talk to him. I'm kinda tired of treating my symptoms without knowing the cause. Trying not to have a "down" day, but lately I feel like I'm on the basement stairs again.
Hugs to all that need it - I know I need them!
-
well it is friday, wish my appt was early in the day but whatever. Just saw weather report, can not believe there is a hurricane that is likely to affect east coast, i refuse to think about such craziness
-
(((Tomboy))) Best wishes for a stress free trip. I am happy your mom's friend rescued your mom's stuff for you. I miss my mom too. I will tell you later about my crazy day cleaning my mom's closet later. Back to work. Waving hi to Gma!
-
Molly ..your pizza looks SO yummy ..I can smell it from here !!! 😃
Tomboy ..off course you miss your Mum ..mine passed away a couple of days after my 21st birthday .. unexpectedly..and not a day goes by I don't think of her ..The day I had my mascetomy I was laying on the bed waiting to go to surgery..and all I could think was I wish my Mum was here ...
Iris ..I hope your doctor's appointment goes well .
We are having a combined garage sale with our neighbours on either side this morning ..wonder if anyone will buy our "treasures " HaHa....then going to friends house for lunch today ...
Hugs to all x

Molly, so glad Wyatt is doing well! And I hope you get some answers soon.
Lucy, I'm happy to hear your DGS may have turned a corner. What a long road this has been for all of you! Did they ever get a diagnosis?
Iris, woo-hoo! What wonderful news!!!!
-
thanks for response, now if i could just learn how to deal, with the weakness in my legs, dang but i used wheelchair from front door to the chemo department which of course is in the back, of building
-
Great news Iris!!!!
-
Just popping in before running more errands. Been dealing with tech & online ordering issues till yesterday.
Yeee-HAH! Iris! NED is a great dancing partner, isn't he? Hope your legs get back in shape so you can keep up with him.
Such good news about Wyatt's recovery and Lucy's DGS' improvement. May their symptoms continue to resolve.
Had my Prolia shot Thursday. No side effects whatsoever--and I didn't even take Claritin. Only blood chemistry I know is that my calcium & enzymes are normal, otherwise the shot would have been postponed. My trainer's been ill, though, so have been doing some (but not enough) resistance stuff at home.
-
i hope i did not give incorrect info, ned is not yet on my party card, but i have improved and finally have a med that is showing improvement
Gee just placed my first order with peapod. I have been trying to figure out the best online delivery service for groceries. It may take a while to get used to
-
Been using Peapod since 1994, when it was dial-up and required its own software. I love it.
-
good to know, i see the trucks driving though my neighborhood
Would really be nice, course i need to get used to it as it took me a while today to create my order but that was me
-
The Express Shop and Order History links (or whatever they're calling it--they keep revamping the site) will speed up future ordering considerably.
-
sandy, good to know. My first delivery is tomorrow. I looked around at several delivery companies but peapod seemed the most established. Although amazon has a nuge warehouse down the rode from me.
Ok time to move this body, gym day!
-
