Choking Feeling

Hello!  My mom was recently re-diagnosed with TNBC.  She is undergoing 8 rounds of chemo (4 of one medicine and 4 of another) and will then undergo a mastectomy.  She's staying with myself, husband and 2 girls.  We were just out for the day and when we got home, she looked very sick and said she was having a hard time breathing and felt like she was being choked.  She said she's felt that way for a couple days and that's why she hasn't been eating as much, which I had noticed.  It seemed to pass quickly and subsided as soon as she sat down....Anyone have an idea what that might be from?

This is a total guess-is it possible that she is constipated, and whatever she eats has nowhere to go? That may cause heartburn and a "full to the gills" feeling. It's happened to me before

I think you should check in with the doctor or nurse. Breathing trouble and swollen throat could indicate an allergic reaction, if I'm not mistaken. You don't want to wait around if that is starting to happen.
