I am 1.5 years out, and still here. Am running a 10k next week and steady as she goes. One day at a time. Wishing you the best.

gepopadop,
I lost 4 of 14 lymph nodes. Was Stage IIB. In November, I will have been alive and well for 9 Years after dx. So you need to get ready to live. It won't be fun for up to a year, but you don't want to miss a minute of what can come after. Good luck to you!

I had positive nodes and will be 3 years in September. Thanks yellowdoglady for your post. I don't live in fear but Recurrence is always in my brain.

For those of you that were node positive, were you always considered node positive? I have always been considered clinically node negative, and I just had by BMX and was told there was one positive node during my SNB so she completed a full axillary dissection. I am completely in shock- not only did I not get a PCR (which I knew was highly likely), but my node status is worse than I even expected. I figured if they did find any thing in my nodes it would be microscopic and mainly fibrosis (killed by the chemo). Anyone have a similar experience, or did you know you were node positive all along? Thanks!

yellowdoglady and redporchlady thank you for your posts!!!
Sam0623 I did not know about my nodes until my surgery and the path report after that.
thanks

My mom was triple negative with a positive node and is doing great 12 years out! I had a questionable node (it wasn't removed until after chemo and was negative at that time, but was slightly lit on the MRI). I'm not quite 2 years out. I'm obviously hoping for the same outcome as my mom!

I'm almost 2 years out. Per a pre-chemo Pet scan I had several nodes that lit up. After treatment surgery removed 22. Only 1 had a micomet left. I have lymphedema in my arm, but am doing quite well.

I'm 4 years out from DX (TNBC with + nodes) and my followups have all been clear.
Sam0623 - I was told my nodes were negative throughout my chemo and then I was told they were positive after my mastectomy. Yes, it was quite a surprise!

I am just a year out from DX. I was one node positive at DX. Completed new-adjuvant chemo. Four nodes removed at surgery, all were negative. So far scans have been good. It is really encouraging to read the comments from those of you who are numerous years out. Thank you for sharing.
