    Hi. I have finished up neoadjuvant chemo and will be doing bilateral mastectomy in September with ALND. Anyone go through similar treatment and skip radiation? I'm willing to do everything to keep me alive the longest but wonder how necessary it is if I'm having my breasts and lymph nodes removed.

    Jnnmn, I also have IDC and I'm not able to to rads because of a history of lupus. The standard would be lumpectomy and rads, or mastectomy, plus chemo before or after mastectomy. That's the route I have to go and I'm not concerned about skipping rads.
