You need to read the SSDI "blue book" available on the SSDI site. Unless you have more than 10 nodes involved, or bilateral, or nodes in clavicle or chest wall area involved, then stage iii does not automatically get SSDI. They do look at how you are responding. depending on your problem, they may and probably will deny SSDI and then you can try to get an attorney who will take her fees only if you win.

Stage iii dx does not get automatic SSDI, esp. with your 1/1 nodes. Go to the SSDI website and read what it says. I wonder how this happened.

I know. I've read it all a zillion times. I asked the lawyers why, and they said it does happen. Perhaps because I was already on long term disability and enough doctors from top US clinics stated that I was disabled...I was severely affected by the neuropathy and chemo brain, and I truly am unable to work. It had nothing to do with the nodes.

Hi there, i'm receiving SDI throughout chemotherapy treatment and recently received a notice of possible overpayment.

While I think there may have been an administrative error, and have no issue with repayment, I'm suspecting the overpayment is more than what's been called out.

Any advice on how to handle the situation? Is it up to me to chase the insurance company and state disability insurance office to review all payments?

I'm diligent with submitting timesheets and reporting every time I'm out of the office for treatment. At the end of the day, I just don't want this to come back and bite me in the butt so wanted to understand what my obligations are.

Appreciate any advice on this topic.
