    This is great information. But I had two reclast infusions before I was dx'd. I guess that means the biophosphanates don't work for regional tumor, only micrometastasis? Or maybe the infusions kept it from spreading. Thanks for posting. I posted at Femara before I saw this thread

    Thanks for the link. Bisphosponates work for postmenopausal women to help prevent bone (micro)metastasis. I thought it was interesting that they had to up the dose to monthly, which is the same as for those with bone macromets except only for 8 cycles. I don't know if I would want to have a bone biopsy done to look for dormant mets.
