My mom was stage I/node neg/ER and PR positive/HER2 negative in 2007 and she has done VERY well. Ironically, she had an abnormal mammo in 1999 and never had a repeat until 2007 and there it was - She did not have one single positive node! I was not quite as fortunate, but I can tell you from what you're posting, it looks pretty promising to me. Mom had lumpectomy and lymph node dissection that was negative. Best wishes, and please keep us posted on your results. Tumor staging is done after surgery.

I just had a mastectomy. My tumor measured 1.9 in the ultrasound but six weeks later when they operated it was only 1.4. It showed evidence of lymphovascular invasion. It was not found in my lymph nodes. Mine is stage one. They can't stage it until after the surgery. I see my oncologist on Wednesday. That is six weeks after my surgery. I have not found this to be a quick process and the waiting has caused me a lot of anxiety. I am just taking it one day at a time. Despite the diagnosis and the surgery I have managed to really enjoy my summer. I love to host and socialize and found this very effective in controlling the anxiety. Also my dr prescribed me cannibas oil high in CBD and find it is working really well. One day at a time!! Good luck to you!!
