Tamoxifen, Lupron and preparing for pregnancy
I'm posting this for my wife because she doesn't speak English.
The basic question is, does anyone have experience getting pregnant after Tamoxifen and Lupron and if so, did you stop taking both medications at the same time or did you stagger them? Is there any special risk involved with stopping both at the same time?
Here's a little history of her treatment if that helps:
2 years ago at 33 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery (lumpectomy) and radiation but no chemo based on the results of Oncotype DX testing. She has been on Tamoxifen and Lupron for a year and 2 months now. Our doctor has said based on my wife's age and risk of the cancer returning that we can try to get pregnant at this point, however the doctor hasn't been very helpful in the exact timing of things. Her last Lupron injection was 3 months ago, she didn't have her most recent injection. She is still taking Tamoxifen, but unsure about when exactly to stop taking it. Currently my wife isn't getting her period and she's worried that it might never come back. Will stopping Tamoxifen help her period return faster? It seems like research suggest no, but I've read plenty of anecdotal information that suggests otherwise.
Any advice and or words of encouragement are deeply appreciated!

get off the tamoxofen and use natural estrogen blockers - IDC3 ( Indol 3 carbonal,) CDG, start using topical progesterone from the healthfood store be sure to read Dr Lees book before you use it. Luprin is very dangerous as well and can later cause uterine cancer. as with all medicines like this do a gradual decrease of dose overtime. See a speicalist in natural pathic care. best wishes
