TNBC Tumor Size

Hello everyone. When you post specifics about your TNBC tumor size, is it based on ultrasound or MRI? If you had both testsdo you use the largest measurement? Also exactly how is tumor size determined? Is it based on total cubic volume or the longest dimension?

    Mine was based on the actual removal of it during my lumpectomy. The MRI and the biopsy sometimes hit it on head sizewise, but usually it is just an estimation. Some gals after surgical removal (if surgery is done) are told it was larger than estimated, some turn out small. Mine turned out to be 1.2 centimeters, and both my MRI and original biopsy estimated it to be within 1 cm to 1.3 cms, so mine was a close call.
