is it lymph node mets?

hI all, hoping someone can help me. I had a bmx in may with two lymph nodes removed at that time, one was positive. have had a diep and now finished #3 AC, over the past month under my arm beside my "breast" on the chest it is tender. I think more so over the past month then after SNB. I am scheduled to have a ALND in late fall.

Could the lymph node have metastasized to other nodes there? What does lymph node mets feel like?  my one node positive was 0.45 cm and was asymptomatic

    Hi,

    someone else might have a similar experience than I but the node could be an infection or the immune system reacting since you are still on chemo.

    my biggest node in the axilla was 1cm and I couldn't feel anything.

    have you contacted your doctor?

    Mention it to your doc. It also could be a seroma

    Tpralph, while I would never say never, you're in the middle of chemo which would [in general] keep any cancer from growing. The odds that this is a met are very small.

    Could be the start of lymphadema, could be infection, could be anything. You should definitely mention it.
