Hi my name Christina was just dx with IDC Left breast 2 weeks ago. I am 29 years old it all started (for me to notice) was a pea sized lump 4 months ago I was a little worried but in between states and insurance so I had to wait for 3 months and the lump grew to 6 cm with nipple pain and chest hurting had a mammo last month which they seen 3 tumors in a clump had biopsy 2 weeks ago they said they only biopsied one of the tumors came back idc and was only 0.5 cm away from nipple range on mammo changed from first one to a total of 8 cm altogether. I was a bit worried and the past week after that the pain has increased up my neck and armpits to breast bone. Now doing a self exam I have found a second lump on right side near my chest bone. I'm confused they are waiting another week to see me to tell me the process then schedule me for scans and or surgery or whatever. I know for a fact with my family history this could kill me fast so I am very worried now.

My aunt died at 29 of BC and grandmother died 69 after cancer spread to her brain within a month of dx recurrence of BC.

Should I seek emergency help by telling the doctor or wait til my appointment?

Yes absolutely! Especially since you found something that is new. It may have been there but was missed earlier, but certainly the pain situation has changed. You must be your own advocate. This is not the time to be shy. You have a legitimate new concern. Tell them your concern about the timing also, It could be that they actually gave you the first slot available. Hopefully they will have a patient advocate who can take the time to answer your questions. Best of luck with this
