Where do I go for financial help?

I have breast cancer, had two surgeries to remove tumor and nodes and will be starting chemo next and then radiation, and hormone pills. Looking for part time work to supplement my S.S. but worried right now that I will not have the funds to cover all the bills that will be coming in. My copays alone will be difficult to keep up with.

    Go to your social worker at the medical facility where you are being treated. There are grants you may be eligible for to help pay for chemo and other treatments.     check out the PANfoundation.com they can help. I need to go thru some more of my resources to give you more info on other sites I have bumped into.

    I will soon be in a similar situation , my job will end by early next year (due to layoffs) and I have to figure out how I will pay for all my meds, Dr visits etc. If you are with Kaiser insurance they will keep you on as a patient and not charge outrageous cobra , copay etc. many doctors can fill out a form and get coverage for medications for free or low cost. Yes, talk to a Social Worker if you have access to one. I am a Social Worker but not famliar with how Texas does things.

    Im in the midst of trying to figure out how to pay for my 4 yr olds medical insurance...with Trump in office, who knows if Obama care will still be around for long......
